In your GPS enter “Hunters Pride Wildlife Estate, Dinokeng” . Pin Locations often take you to the wrong place.
Most popular gate to utilise is the TAU gate. Game Reserve has multiple gates.
It is advisable to purchase your entrance fees and self-drive tickets online. Link will be sent to you.
You will enter at Pride of Africa gate (picture)
Please do not turn on any other gravel road before you see this gate, even if the GPS tells you to.

Spacious Open Plan Kitchen
An open-plan kitchen designed for both cooking and connection, this space blends seamlessly into the living and dining areas so the chef is never tucked away from the action. The kitchen is fully stocked, with generous counter space, oven, an oversized fridge, and cabinets neatly organized with every tool, utensil, and spice(please bring own) at hand. A large island sits at the center, doubling as a prep station and a social hub, with bar stools inviting guests to gather, chat, and sip while meals are prepared.
Overhead, pendant lighting sets a warm, welcoming tone, while open shelving and glass-front cupboards display beautiful cookware and glassware within easy reach. There’s ample workspace and flow, so even with guests nearby, the chef can move freely between chopping, cooking, and plating. The layout encourages conversation, laughter, and shared moments—making the kitchen not just a place to prepare food, but the very heart of the party.

Lodge Preparedness
Lodge is Thoroughly cleaned between bookings.
Should you require help daily with dishes, making beds etc please arrange this before day of arrival.
Self-Catering
As this is a Self-Catering Lodge please do bring all required food, beverages etc. Lodge has all crockery, eating utensils, etc.
Solar System
A solar power system has been installed as a backup solution in response to ongoing electricity supply challenges.
This installation is intended to ensure greater continuity of operations and reduce disruptions caused by power outages. While grid electricity remains the primary source, the solar system will provide reliable support when needed.
One of only two 4 bedroom lodges available in Hunters Pride Estate, Dinokeng. And all bedrooms are en-suite. VERY modern and VERY clean. Owners took pride in furnishing this lodge and their exquisite taste is seen everywhere here. Beautiful setting with bush in front of you and your chances are good to see, or hear one, or maybe more of the Big 5 as it is right in Dinokeng Big 5 area. Also very safe. This lodge ideally situated as you are in the bush but yet conveniently close to restaurants and shops.

There is a Dishwasher for your convenience situated in scullery behind kitchen.

The lodge does provide a washing machine. Should you need to utilise this please do supply your own washing powder, etc.
Pool
Private splash pool, warmed by solar. Ample seating in pool while you cool down and soak up the sun and bush in front of you.
Computer Station
With the available Wifi you are able to be seated anywhere, should you need to be on your laptop, phone for either business or pleasure.
Ice
The lodge’s double door fridge/freezer provides a build in dispenser to provide ice to cool your beverages on those warm days.
Games
Hunters Pride Estate also has a “Game Room” that services the whole estate. Games they have available is Table tennis, Pool table, Arcade Machine, Darts, etc.

Cancellation Policy
14 days prior to arrival – No refund.
15 to 30 days before arrival – 50% refund of total invoice.
31 to 60 days – 75% refund of total invoice.
61 plus days – 90% refund of total invoice.
Should you wish to change your dates after confirmation of you booking it will be seen as a new booking and you will be required to pay a deposit again.
Once we have received an alternate booking from another guest you will be refunded accordingly.

Absolutely unforgettable stay at Tenkudu Bush Lodge!
The lodge is modern and comfortable while still keeping that authentic bush feel. Woke up with zebra on the lawn, pool sessions in the afternoon, and all of it right in Big 5 territory just outside the city. Doesn’t get much better than this!
Our stay at Tenkudu Bush Lodge was absolutely unforgettable. Every detail has been so carefully thought out, and it truly shows. Each ensuite bedroom feels like a private retreat — spacious, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. For anyone who loves a good soak, the bathtubs are heavenly! After a long day exploring the reserve, sinking into a warm bath was pure bliss. The added touch of having your own little area to get ready made it feel even more luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed, making self-catering effortless, and the shared living spaces were perfect for relaxing and connecting as a group. We loved being surrounded by the sounds of nature while still enjoying every modern comfort. Tenkudu really is the perfect combination of wilderness and luxury. Tenkudu Bush Lodge is a beautiful, clean and modern home with attention to detail. Idyllic for relaxation, enjoying nature and spending time with loved ones. Very well kept and great service. The amenities, especially the aircons and swimming pool made our stay very enjoyable. Tenkudu Bush Lodge is highly recommended.
Our stay was absolutely spectacular, it far exceeded our expectations. The kids and adults equally enjoyed the stay. The house was spacious, well stocked with amenities, clean, and looked better than the pictures.
